Typical Work Outfit

This is a pretty typical work outfit, as the title implies. I lost these pants for a little while in the apartment move, and it was really nice to find them again. I bought them for $20 on sale. It's why I fully advocate pulling everything in your size in a sale rack, and also going to see sales in-store. My only issue is that I can't find them for that cheap again!

I don't really have a whole lot to say. I really like these pants though. I think they're really flattering. Although that could also be that they're too long, so I have to wear heels with them. Either way, I think they make my legs look a lot longer.

Unfortunately, these heels also acted as a chew toy to one of the foster cats. They've taken quite a beating.

The jewelry was pretty minimal. I woke up on time for once! It motivated me to simplify and get ready faster.

I realize this is pretty banal, but I wanted to show a typical outfit. It's nothing exciting, but it's pretty easy to throw on in the morning.

  1. Those pants look really good on you. I would maybe hem them if you want them to be shorter? And everyone needs a basic work outfit. It takes minimal thinking and it's comfortable. That's all I'm looking for at work.

  2. Thanks! I bought them without even trying them on. I thought they were the same as a pair of "ankle length" pants I already have, but in a smaller size.

I've been looking for them in petite. I like having longer pants I can wear heels with. There's something to be said for how you feel walking down the hall in a pair of heels.
